No Tricks....Just TREATS

Disney Halloween Treats

Trick or Sweet. The Disney pastry chefs have the extra-fun job of coming up with boo-ti-ful treats for guests at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom (on select dates through Nov. 1) at Walt Disney World Resort and Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland Park (on select dates through Oct. 31).

Here’s a look at some of the treats that you’ll find in the Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom and throughout Disneyland Park. Another of the ghoulest, coolest seasonal treats is pumpkin ice cream, says Justine Wilson, who keeps an eye on the Main Street Bakery and the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor in the Magic Kingdom. Justine tells us that their bakers start the day at about 4 a.m. and bake until an hour after the Magic Kingdom closes each day. That’s a lot of cupcakes and cookies!

At Disneyland Park, you’ll find treats in various spots: fall cupcakes in the Blue Ribbon Bakery on Main Street, U.S.A., the more grown-up gingerbread beignets and eggnog anglaise at Café Orleans, Jack’s Chocolate Mud Coffin in the French Market in New Orleans Square, and the Halloween demitasse cup at the Plaza Inn.
