When visiting Epcot, one of the things that I enjoy the most is indulging at the pavilions around World Showcase Lagoon. I love being able to sample authentic treats from around the world, discover new scents & fragrances, and get that feeling that I’m being whisked away to new places in each and every pavilion that I visit around the Lagoon. Now when you visit Epcot World Showcase, you will find two new locations that will tantalize your taste buds and transport you to far off places without having to board a 10 hour flight.
Opening on September 30th, Karamell-Küche (which is German for caramel kitchen) is opening its doors to let the scent of fresh caramel float through the walkways of the Germany Pavilion and onto Epcot World Showcase. This new shop will engulf you in the sights and smells of an old world German caramel shop. Storck USA, makers of Werther’s Original Caramels, invite you to sample a variety of tasty treats – brownies, cookies, and fudge – all created using Werther’s famous caramel. In addition, Cast Members will make homemade caramel corn, caramel covered apples and caramel covered strawberries right before your eyes at Karamell-Küche. A fun fact about this unique shop is that it is the only freestanding retail location for Werther’s in the world, and not only will carry items made fresh daily but a variety of specialty merchandise and gifts that are only available at Epcot.
In addition to the new caramel confections in the Germany Pavilion, Epcot is also transporting your senses to the boulevards of Paris at the newest addition to the France Pavilion. Givenchy, a worldwide leader in couture fashion, beauty and fragrances, has opened their newest shop in the former Library area of the Le Plume et Palette shop in the France Pavilion. The Givenchy Shop is the first of its kind in the United States – offering a full array of Givenchy make-up, skincare and fragrance products.
Next time you’re strolling through Epcot World Showcase, make sure to stop by these two new locations – your taste buds and senses will thank you!
