Officials from Oriental Land Company, the operator of Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea, say they expect both parks to re-open sometime in April.
The resort has been closed since a devastating earthquake and tsunami struck Japan on March 12.
While both parks sustained only minor damage in the quake, rolling blackouts have prevented them from functioning normally.
Park officials are weighing their options when it comes to power usage upon the parks’ reopening. They are considering closing the parks at nightfall and even opening them only on alternating days.
April was supposed to be a huge month for the Disney property. Its 10th anniversary celebration was slated to kick off on April 23.
