Le Plume et Palette at the France Pavilion.
If you’re walking through World Showcase at Epcot in the next few months, you may be stopped by an intense floral, musky scent that will captivate and transport your senses to the gardens of a French chateau.
Where is that enticing scent coming from? Le Plume et Palette at the France Pavilion.
Le Plume et Palette is home to many designer fragrances, but starting July 1st it will be the site of the newest Givenchy fragrance.
Epcot invites you to be our Guest and be among the first to discover Givenchy’s new fragrance, eaudemoiselle de Givenchy. Le Plume et Palette at Epcot will be the only retail boutique in the United States to carry the fragrance (with the exception of a few duty-free shops in US international airports) and it is being introduced to our guests during a special launch July 1-5.
During the launch, representatives from Givenchy will be available at Le Plume et Palette to consult with Guests on all of Givenchy’s fragrances but more importantly will be introducing this new floral, musky scent. eaudemoiselle de Givenchy is a blend of not only rose and floral scents, but citrus essences of lemon, mandarin orange and the earthy scent of musk and tonka beans.
In celebration of the introduction of this new fragrance, from July 1-5, guests strolling past the France Pavilion will receive promotional postcards redeemable for a complimentary sample of a Givenchy fragrance.

Disney VoluntEARS Celebrated...
With the Disney VoluntEARS program, Cast Members can volunteer to use their skills towards making a difference to various organizations in Florida.
Disney recognizes these efforts with VoluntEAR of the Year and VoluntEAR Team of the Year awards, which come with $2,500 cash donations to the charity of the recipients’ choice.
Last years VoluntEAR of the Year wasAlais Salvador, who won her title for serving more than 2,500 meals for the hungry and creating a Relay for Life team, which raised more than $56,000 for the American Cancer Society.
Disney report that "Within a week of being named VoluntEAR of the Year, Alais was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She underwent two surgeries and – for a short time – lost her ability to speak. As soon as she could, Alais began to volunteer again because “it’s a part of who I am and it just made me feel really good.”
After almost a year’s worth of speech and occupational therapy, Alais has almost made a full recovery. She’s active at work, in the community and as a mom. She credits volunteering to aiding in her recovery and strives to reach her 2008 peak of 607 service hours. Currently, Alais volunteers with the American Cancer Society, Bread of Life Ministries, Coalition for the Homeless, March of Dimes and helps at her church and children’s school."
She deserves great recognition for her efforts and the very best for the future.

For those of you who still haven't seen it...
July 4th in Walt Disney World..
Get ready for a treat at Walt Disney World this Fourth of July — we’re celebrating with a unique choice of fireworks shows at several different theme parks. Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will have special pyrotechnics and Epcot will be adding a patriotic “tag” to its famous “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” spectacular. Here’s the specific breakdown:
Magic Kingdom – “Celebrate America Fireworks” will fill the sky at 9 p.m. After the fireworks, guests can enjoy Disney’s “Main Street Electrical Parade” of lights, music and magic at 10 p.m. and midnight. Park hours are 8 a.m.-1 a.m.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Special fireworks set to a rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack will be presented at 9:50 p.m., providing guests with a bonus nighttime entertainment extravaganza to complement “Fantasmic!” (which will be at 9 and 10:30 p.m.). Park hours are 9 a.m.-10 p.m.
Epcot – “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth,” which features dazzling special effects, colorful lasers, brilliant fireworks and fiery torches all choreographed to a musical score, becomes even more dynamic on July 4 as the normal show is supplemented with a patriotic finale. The performance begins at 10 p.m. Earlier in the day, guests will be treated to the Voices of Liberty 4th of July Concert – featuring an expanded cast of singers plus the Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corps and Disney characters – at 12:30, 1:45 and 3 p.m. on the America Gardens Theatre stage. In addition, Betsy Ross will be engaging guests inside The American Adventure with storytelling, while Ben Franklin will be making appearances on the promenade near the attraction. Park hours are 9 a.m.-10 p.m.
Disney's Animal Kingdom – Guests can enjoy all the regular attractions and shows on July 4 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
And of course, entertainment and park hours are subject to change without notice. So, who’s joining us this year?
